A grade badge next to any Terms link. Tap the badge: a report card pops up โ big letter grade up top, the 12-check checklist underneath, the as-of date and source on every card. It holds long enough to read, then auto-fades over ~5 seconds on an S-curve โ slow first, then quick. No second tap. Scroll the badge out of view and the card dismisses early.
A mock site footer. The badges are enhanced from plain
[data-tos] markers by the snippet โ tap one, then scroll the
card travels with its badge and fades if the badge leaves the viewport.
Grading Instagram honestly against the spec's 12 checks gives 84 โ B,
not the D the pitch predicted. And the math has a real bug: each check deducts at most 2,
so the worst possible score is 100 โ 24 = 76 โ D (40+) and F (<40)
can never be reached at all.
Suggested fix for the director: keep the bands, weight each deduction at ร3.5 (Instagram: 16 ร 3.5 = 56 โ 44 โ D; worst possible โ 16 โ F). Or re-anchor the bands to the 0โ24 deduction scale directly. Until then the demo implements the rubric exactly as spec'd, so the Instagram card honestly reads B.
